Just finished reading Pat Buchanan's blurb.

Buchanan is not being pro-Obama in this message. He is being polite in referring to him by his first name. Buchanan is making a comparison with the time surrounding the Reagan era and even comparing him to Nixon----which no doubt the left doesn't like.

However-----the most important words are the final words that come at the end of the blurb------this is the zinger!

"Reagan was no Barry Goldwater. He knew when to "hold 'em," and he knew when to "fold 'em." Yet, America still knew who Reagan was.

We may be misunderestimating Barack. But the question of 2008 remains: When all is said and done, who is this guy?"

I understand precisely what Buchanan is saying. He gave us the run down on Obama as he is now trying to sell himself in the Center------then brings in the big punch line at the end.

"We knew who Reagan was -------we don't know who is this guy."
