You must live in Detroit. 8^) I think the majority of the Priui(?) bought in CA were to get the commute sticker so they could use the commute lane. It really didnt' make sense as they don't save much carbon / gasoline at speed and really shine in traffic.... so most were buying them for a shorter commute without having to take a second rider yet they could brag about being "green." To many others, it was a fashion statement, especially those who work and live in Palo Alto where it is thick with them.
