Your post brought to mind a piece I heard last night on People's Radio.

John Fund of the WSJ was being interviewed by an obviously liberal interviewer. Fund was remarking on the obituary for Jesse Helms, and how in the first paragraph it mentioned his positions on issues of race back in the 1960s. Fund's remark was while that may be a pertinent part of the obituary, it was featured in the first paragraph because Helms was a Republican. He commented that when Robert Byrd dies, for example, he would be willing to bet that Byrd's membership in the KKK would not be featured front and center in the first paragraph, but probably buried about 26 paragraphs in.

The interviewer was dumbstruck. Could not believe that was the case, and felt that the Obituary was perfectly fair.

These libs have a blindside wider than a 100' barn.
