You guys have convinced me of one thing. Even if solar cells on a Prius is not an efficient way to use solar power, it does pass the 'marketing' test. If people buy these for whatever reason, its good business. Yeah right - the US of A has zero concept about energy consumption - gas guzzlers are now making a difference while inventories of gas guzzling SUV are getting bloated - sell those SUV at huge discount telling people how much gas it would buy . Increasing price of gas is probably only the first stage before the US figures out how much energy is wasted - waste is OK as long as it is cheap but it will change
