They are. Ever see any stats on class mobility?

Besides, I know billionaires personally... no matter what they do, they're never going to be poor. And they're always going to have the influence to make themselves richer. They walk into a room and people fall at their feet, just because their grandfathers made money a century ago. Their kids are rich, their grandkids will be rich, their great grandkids will be rich.

And I know plenty of people who work 60-80 hours a week and are never going to be able to do much more than feed themselves and their families, and there's NO way they'll ever be like those billionaires. Hell, there's probably no way they'll ever make six figures. And neither will their kids, or their kids' kids..
