Airlines/ Speculation. Total baloney. That letter is pathetic. Fact is, air travel is simply too cheap. costs about the same to travel to Europe today as it did 20 years ago. Supply and Demand have to meet. There is an optimal price out there ands its a lot higher than it is today. Oil just one piece of it - albeit a large one - the airlines essentially were running on margin, oil went up, margin call, b-bye.
