Star Trek doesn't really say; just that there is no more war; persecution; no hunting, nor eating of any meat; and no money. OK the latter hints of socialism, but they could be using hair instead. But that would make Cpt. Picard very poor. Maybe they use electronic credits, but wouldn't either hair or credits be another form of money? Anywho its ok to daydream of a perfect society but another to believe its actually possible. It’s like believing that humans can be as perfect as God, another impossibility.
