I continue to be very concerned about financials- especially given the recent comments and weakness about fanny mae and freddy mac. one has to believe all financials are loaded with their paper in one way or another. im guessing the paper is also way weaker and if they are forced to be marking this to market it just will not look good for financials and general electric is about 35% financials, I think. Congress will have some very difficult decisions to make about bailouts in the next two years.
I think we can all look for big hair cuts in housing prices in most areas. Most of middle america has probably been wiped out . they just dont realize it yet.
