Phil Gramm was 100% correct. There is no recession, yet the Dems have whipped one up out of thin air. And it IS whining.

McCain was stupid for backing away from it instead of clarifying the remarks. OTOH, Gramm was stupid for making the remark in the first place, even if it is true.

Americans can't HANDLE the truth.
