Pete:

Good find. A lot of leads in that release.

I like the VLSI involvment and CRUS is up to somthing too.

Wyse is potentially a biggie. Haven't paid them much attention in recent years. Busy weekend ahead.

The whole NC idea is only beginning to move. At this point the market for these is in its infancy. So many players trying to get in, and I'm sure more are waiting in the wings. Viable niches within the NC marketplace have yet to be defined. If the NC concept takes off, (and it looks like it will) we can expect the next couple of years to
be a time of great flux, definition, and shakeouts.

My guess is that the big corporate IS departments will be looking for boxes more capable than glorified terminals or defrocked wintel non-PCs. (upper end NC machines with more processing power, more memory more modular designs will have a longer useful lifetime and be more cost effective in the long run)

Another guess is that CCC will turn itself into a design house and outsource the actual production. Make sense to you? (Doesn't Wyse make boxes to a lot of other companies specs? seem to remember that from somewhere.)
