off topic: after seeing your comments about swatch i decided to research timex. I just bought a timex watch today , again. I like them because they are reasonably priced and are made with a band that stretches. On top of that it has a feature where you press a button and it glows in the dark. it turns out that if the band breaks, its about the same cost to replace the watch as it is to replace the band. Unfortunately they are owned by a privately held company out of Norway.
