I don't think Democrats are particularly successful. In fact, I've only voted for a Democrat twice in my entire life. Once in 2004 and once this year in the Dem primaries. I think the old school Republicans are honorable and really cared about the good of this country. But the current Republican leadership dominated by neocons is corrupt and cares only for themselves and their oil buddies. I won't vote for Republicans again until they resemble the Republican Party I group up with.
