Video of explosions from inside the North Tower after the 2nd plane struck the South Tower.

2nd plane hits South Tower at 1:30 into video.

Huge explosion in lower levels of North tower at 3:55. Dust, debris, destruction shows it was an explosion...not some unidentifiable "loud noise".

Also note that in the video, which was shown in a television presentation, the damage in the lobby when firemen first enter was attributed to the jet fuel...at 1:10 in: "Later they figure out that flaming jet fuel had shot straight down the elevator shaft."
The narrator of the TV show inserts this lie. None of the elevators from the level struck by the plane go straight to the lobby. You had to get off the elevator from the upper floors at mid-level, walk down a hall, around a corner and get on another elevator to complete the trip to the lobby.

Also, the first firefigher into the building saw no lobby damage, went up a stairway and came back down to the lobby 5 minutes later...before the main body of fire personnel arrived. The 2nd time he was in the lobby he saw it was damaged. 5 minutes after the first plane had struck. It was not the jet fuel down the elevator shaft that caused the lobby damage.

The TV show also does not explain the explosion seen on the video either...just that something was very wrong...duh.
