This is why I continue to take 325 mgs/day of ASA taking my chances for an increased risk of bleeding. Apparently at least 325 mgs needs to be taken for over 10 years to have a beneficial effect.

I saw saw a study once that showed some benefits for some other cancers (breast and prostate I believe) but here it states that only colon cancer is affected. If I come across the article again, I'll post it here.

This is not standard of care in the USA.
