Prudhoe is quickly being depleted the oil bearing horizon has gone from 10 to 1 since first spudded in 1977. Even if the ANWR was going into production it would take 7-10 years before the first drop of oil reached market. A better bet is the Alberta tar sands which are already in production and below capacity.

If you can produce oil out of the ANWR I want the Windy Craggy mine to be put into production free of charge by the U.S. government who shut it down.
