There was a guy in my cohort who, from time to time, people would ask where he stood on the issues. He would never give an answer....instead, he would duck the question. Eventually, I began to think he was a GOPer.....even as he lived in one of the more liberal neighborhoods of Seattle. Three months ago, he and his girlfriend suddenly moved to the Republican side of the metro area. And yes, one side of the Seattle metro is known as Republican. He probably was not comfortable in Seattle.

Frankly that's a little crazy...

You mean the behavior of the guy? I should have pointed out......he's acted a little weird from the very beginning of the program. Plus, he was born and raised in CA. <g>

but I suppose a sign of the times.

I think people are polarized......if my family is any indication.

Most of my life folks reaaly didn't give a crap about politics, the Vietnam era being the exception. Even I didn't care that much until 9/11.

Exactly. I started caring in 2000 when Bush won. Prior to that, I was too busy with other things.
