Rightwingers have no idea how badly this country is hurting. I drive around a lot to all kinds of towns and neighborhoods and I can see it everywhere. A majority of the commerce in this country is built around mechanization, automation and easy travel. That means cheap gasoline. Now that it is $5 a gallon, our economy is crushed. The ripple effects are getting worse every day but Bushie A-hole appeasers like you refuse to see it. You people believe so strongly in corrupt corporate rule that you refuse to care about ordinary Americans who now have to choose between driving to work or buying groceries. It's really bad, and it is also starting to hurt the upper middleclass and some who are rich.

Ask anyone who sells gas guzzling machinery, or owns a business which caters to drive-in customers. Ask any farmer, truck driver, grocer, mall store owner, tourist business owner, etc.

You will find that their economic livlihood is now in grave danger. As are a lot of people who put their money in real estate or stocks. Those people have gotten hurt too, and it's only going to get worse. This is much worse than the 70's. And Bushies created the problems. Carter merely inherited them. Big difference. In fact if you want a mirror image of Bush look at Herbert Hoover. As we warned you bastards from the beginning.
