"What does PV do" en.wikipedia.org Converts sunlight directly to electricity, currently at a very low efficiency. It's a solid state technology, with no moving parts. The original solar cells, made over 50 years ago, still work just fine with no maintenance. FSLR - has the patent on the first PV cells produced on a "printing press" onto a flexible material. Production is sold out for the foreseeable future. Has the first contract for a US large scale PV power plant. JF got in early. His retirement may be secure.
