Even if we did, the resulting output would be a pittance compared to what we and the rest of the world use. It would not result in the lowering of the current prices, because overall usage is increasing. Look at the numbers posted. Do some research yourself. Don't rely on Sean 'We Can Drill Our Way Out of Bush's Mess' Hannity to think for you. He's not very good at it, and makes a poor surrogate.

We use 7b bbls a year; the world total use is around 30b. We have 21b in reserve. ANWR is 5-11b. The new Montana/ND might be 3-5b. Do the math.
