Cheaper for who? A residential solar installation is one thing. A commercial grade installation where the intent is to tie into the electric grid and sell power is a different matter entirely. The market is split. You are comparing apples and oranges. Solar technology appropriate for residential is one thing. Solar technology appropriate for tieing into the grid, especially concentrated solar is entirely something else...and so is the cost structure - like in the hundreds of millions. - A.
