LOL!! Don't think you need the "inter"..

But it does bring up a valid point as to what is actually the cause and effect of polarity shift.

I just can't believe that such a reversal will occur without some unforseeen consequences to the Earth's geophysics.

Some scientists have suggested that electro-magnetic forces, and not gravity, are the primary force of attraction between masses. Thus, such a shift should also result in a polarity change for the moon, IMO.

I'll do some googling and see if I can find some info.
