Having said that, I do understand that the truth is a bit hard to take. When your beliefs are called into question by the facts, it is uncomfortable. I was in your shoes in 2004. I was an old guy who'd been Republican all my life, but questioning for the first time some of the policies of this administration and the current incarnation of the Republican Party. After alot of reading and research, I came to the realization that this Republican Party and this President are a big departure from the Republicans of my youth.

I just wish more Republicans would do a little soul searching and not just believe everything Fox News tells them. But I don't expect you to do that. It's clear that your mind is closed to any facts that don't jive with your current world view.
