Pat, with options nothing is ever sure, but I think the best thing to do is buy the options exactly when you would buy the stocks, (e.g. when you think the stock is at a temporary dip/weak point). For AMTX, I think the stock is pretty weak now, because so many people are waiting for some big deployment announcements, and every week that passes without one brings on more self doubt and anxiety for those folks.

I never like to tell people what to do with their money, but as far as my own trading, my Oct 12.5s and 15s expire today, and I'm thinking of buying an some additional Nov 20s today, and possibly some more next week sometime. It's usually a good strategy to buy 1/2 now, buy 1/2 later if you're not sure you've got the best price yet, but would rather have some position in place rather then being left at the train station as the express whips by.

Regards, Bret
