I know that's a bold statement, but as I think about it, much of the world's bad debt/credit is related
to giving mortgages to people who couldn't otherwise afford them.

In other words, loaning money to people who couldn't pay it back.

Who said home ownership was a right, not a privelege?

Bush wanted to nationalize home ownership, now instead we will nationalize the resulting bad debt
