That's a misinterpretation of my remark. It was the media that painted a false picture of Vietnam, not the vets. With one exception--John Kerry did indeed lie about his fellow Vietnam vets in order to win his first election to congress. >I worked with and knew a lot of Vietnam Vets. I don't think any of them tried to present a "duplicitous picture" of Vietnam.<
