You are the one making the stupid claim that the reason while oil production has declined in this country is because we stopped drilling. No that is what you assumed I said, which is why you made an ass of yourself. I was not specific and did not mean my statement to say that drilling would have avoided peak oil, only that it would help current production. , even if so, that would have been about the only offshore area blocked. Most all of Florida at that time as well.
