Thoughts & Questions on China Telecom.

1) $12.5 billion in investment is $500 million to Q bottom line in royalties alone for 09. What about chip and equipment sales? Another $500 million to bl? What percentage can be tagged as new money and up current 09 estimates?

2) $20 CDMA phones attractive to China's 500-800 million rural farmers. So CDMA coverage in rural China planned? Would EVDO overlay be cost effective to provide broadband to rural China?

Any other implications?

UPDATE: Oops! I guess not all that 12.5 billion is for CDMA equipment, per se... towers, antennas, other stuff....
