So what's your definition of 'discussion'? Rolling over and playing dead? Agreeing with everything that's posted?

Help me understand what's wrong with challenging someone's assertions.

If you want to see what a discussion thread CAN be, take a look at VNTV and SEBL threads. Opinions voiced, assertions challenged, challenges rebutted. Look at posts by Clam Clam, William Harmond, Trader Dave, Lee L, Konehead, and yes, even yours truly.
