He's talking about the overall economy This is what he said: "and the vast majority of people made down payments and have fixed-rate mortgages, so there's no financial strain." I am in this group....I made a huge down payment on my house and my interest rate is fixed at 6%. What I am telling you is that my budget is strained......so this guy, as brilliant as he may be, may not be getting it right.
