Totally erroneous.Malpractice cases in cities dwarf the rural areas where doctors are usually revered.The awards are larger in a big city due to the makeup of the jury pool.The reason for less doctors in rural areas is due to lifestyle and salary.Medical schools cannot get enough students to promise to work in rural areas despite perks.
