BDCs provide a quick way for equity exposure to small and medium companies. I am bullish on those in the US, because I think the record low dollar and labor flexibility in the US provide a long term competitive advantage for these companies. However, I am very well aware that I may be too early -- hence my commitment of only one third of my cash.
