To give you another example of how out of step American auto makers are vis-a-vis the Japanese for an example. GM has 70 car models while Toyota has only 14-15. I have to believe keeping track of 70 car models is a huge headache...plus coming up with new designs for all the different models. UGH! GM's staff must be bloated with people trying to keep up.
