Why there weren't more dead Tampons at the hands of Tampa Coca Cola, I never could understand. A lot seemed to want it and the company seemed to collude with them on it.

Tampons? Freudian slip? <g>

None of you have driven until you have driven the freeways of S. California. To this day, it amazes me how much faith S. Californians place in their vehicles not breaking down as they careen down the road going 60, 70, 80 mph in heavy traffic. In fact, its not unusual to be going 60-70 mph and be only 5' behind the car in front of you. That's because if you let that distance gap up to 10', someone will try to slip in. When I first got to LA, the freeways terrified me......and I was considered a very aggressive driver in MN. For an example, CHIPS, the state police, do this weaving thing across the road when there is trouble up ahead. I didn't know that when I first got there......so then, the first time I saw a patrol car start to weave, I figured he had whigged and all was lost.......that if the police are losing it, we're all road kill. That's how crazy driving is on the freeways.
