I wrote to my Senators (who are also your senators). Having asked readers to take this step, I would like to see how officials respond to constituent messages. I volunteer to tabulate responses, if they are posted here, or sent to me privately (through SI). Or, I a new thread could be started to collect responses, rather than increase traffic here.

Tabulation would be Senator, State, Party, Yes or No on authorizing public equity in GSE, Yes or No on extending regulatory power over GSE. Any response that does not clearly fit in these categories would be marked as "Other -- further contact needed".
