Yesterday also saw the Naz Volume as the 10th strongest volume day of the year against a near record low number of companies 3207.

6 of the other top 10 volume days occurred between Jan 9th and february 7th 2008. The avg number of companies then trading was 3265.

Between July 26th 07 and Aug 10th the market also set new daily volume records against an avg float of 3309 companies.

Thank the Uptick rules erasure, because it made the entire year what its been......a wholesale insider game.
