I would not pick MDVN until Dimebon either fails or doesn't. I don't think failure there will result in a MYGN-like reaction. I trust management even less than MYGN's. That said, I'm no longer short because of 3100 . . .

From the list, I'd pick SNTA INCY RIGL MNTA & SGMO

SNTA's probably the diciest of the lot, but they do have one of better looking Hsp90 inhibitors waiting in the wings. Not sure how much downside protection that would offer, as they don't have a boatload of cash.

All have pretty interesting platforms/big science.

Busy getting ready for a road trip into British Columbia for few days (climbing at Squamish, where it's only supposed to rain on Friday, which is perfect, cuz that's expiration day and I gotta pay attention). I'll be heading for Whidbey Island this afternoon. Northwest Biofreak Beer drinking tonight? Mike McFarland, Wilder, Steve Lokness . . . any of you guys (or anyone I've missed in the Seattle area) interested? I've got numbers for the former two and will call. But Steve and others better ping me quick.

Might be up for it on the return, Monday or Tuesday night, but tonight would be better.

Cheers, Tuck
