Wife bought a sling for a horse and needed a hoist. 10' gap between 4x6's sunk in concrete. Cross piece is 3 2x10s bolted through the 4x6s. Going to add 2 angle irons 1/8" 1x1 and 4' long on each edge of the wood to protect it. Tow chain to hang the chain hoist from. Sound strong enough to you?
