The big picture IMO will be quite similar to this: bp2.blogger.com Lots of boiled frogs to use the cliche du jour as serial rallies that hit lower highs fool investors into thinking that the worst is over. Today was a good example. Oh, man, it will be brutal. A perfect storm of currency mismanagement, regulatory laxness, diminished savings, deficits, serial bubbles, insane liquidity and leverage levels unheard of in our financial history are working together to give us a royal screwing. Roubini is absolutely correct. Unless you feel you can defy gravity, see around corners, etc., don't buck the trend. If you have profits to monetize, monetize them. If not, gold and cash are your friends.
