Recent money supply figures seem to suggest a deflationary turn....either from easing off the gas pedal or things collapsing faster than they can monetize....would think the former at this still early(?) stage.....

...May be not as important that the financial situations line up the way they did in 1970's but whether the investor psychology does...wasn't it Mahareeshi Mahesh Yogi who said "life is the alternation of financial assets and then tangible assets"....its interesting that some suggest that many today don't know your supposed to buy gold/silver in an inflationary environment....

Maybe FED's course will be altered...not by Congress but by
the IMF....

"As part of the assessment, the Fed, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the major investment banks, mortgage banks and hedge funds will be asked to hand over confidential documents to the IMF team.."
