Glad to hear that you think conservation is a key thing to do...but in the example, making more money would require to get a new job... The question is in a down economy, does a new job exist... You still don't understand that our oil reserves are very limited and likley to run dry in a couple of decades or so.... You have a la-la land attitude that all it takes is more drilling and that the reason production has been steadily decreasing is because the stupid oil companies haven't recognized that and stopped drilling.... In the money example, it's interesting that you would try to find another source of income but don't mention a savings account or other investments.... So I gather you live on the edge of your income... Not too smart.
