Ted, every consumer in America is experiencing your situation. Maybe they can still pay the bills and be in the black, but inflation will continue as fuel prices jack the price of everything we consume. When the American consumer starts tightening the belt, a genuine recession can't be far behind, and the markets will eventually feel it. Don't get optimistic. I see a market rallying irrationally because the news wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. Not because of any change in fundamentals. Reality will prevail.
