I respect your point and maybe the <good news> is what is behind this. Still, on balance I see bad news 5 to 1 over good news.

Add in this nonsense about no naked shorting <special equities> and the situation with Freddie and Fannie and the picture is not supportive of a stronger dollar.

My opinion is that <they, them, those guys> know exactly what a breach of 72 means. The implications for foreign support of our markets and treasuries could be significant. We need that inflow, and thus 72 must stand as <the dollar bottom>, by design, as agreed, per King Ben and Hank-the-Snake. I'm fairly certain this has been arranged with certain interested parties with oil and money <g>
