You think his popularity is waning even as the polls say the opposite.

The polls make it clear. At a time when the Democrat candidate ought to have a huge lead over ANY Republican opponent, Obama is tied with McCain. It is a dead heat by every meaningful poll.

Excuse me, David. Don't be an ass. He's a black man running in a nation that is predominately white and one that has had a long history of racism. So don't give me this BS that he should be up 20 pts. That's a crock.

And the gap continues to narrow. The race isn't over by a long way, but Obama isn't where he needs to be to finish strongly.

Which is one reason he is chickenshit to go up against McCain on a head-to-head basis. Get him away from his 20-something speechwriters and he's finished. This, he knows.

Your comment up above is so silly that its not worth discussing other than to say.....have you watched McCain speak in public? Even when he speaks in a town hall setting he gets confused and contradicts himself. God bless him but I think he's in the early stages of dementia.
