Long timer lurker here. I have dabbled off and on in covered calls on my QCOM holdings and have started up again. Does anyone else see this as a good time to write calls on QCOM?

The past two months I have been writing them because the premiums are looking good here. I usually write one month out and at the money or slightly out of the money.

I had July 52.5's, 50's, and 47.5 going last month and did well. I am looking to write some August calls after earnings are anounced next week. Depending on how the stock reacts, I plan to write calls into the low 50's or higher if it spikes.

I have a large gain and large position so I have been writing just a small portion (2 or 3 calls at a time) because I don't want to miss out on a large scale move. Writing one month out seems a good way to go because the time premium decreases fairly rapidly.
