The Bush Depression for sure, or at least a deep recession as bad or worse than the 1970's after Vietnam and that energy crisis. We will be lucky if that's all it is.

The forces which sunk us in the 30's are repeating themselves. The statistics all point to it including the massive corruption, the fact Americans now have a negative net worth (more debt that assets), that the deficit spending has basically bankrupted us, that we're printing out more and more worthless paper money with nothing to back it up, and worse than the 30's we have a quagmire war which is draining us of all wealth and energy. Then add the $4-5 gasoline and KERPLUNK.

The "good news" the Bushies are trying to spin about the economy is all total crap. They are covering up terrible inflation, unemployment and deficit numbers which won't come out until after the election.
