Foreigners are the first to recognize the new competitiveness of the US, from Toyota to VW and now to a bunch of Brazilian firms -- plus they now have more capital than US firms. I suspect making a lot of things in the US is cheaper than making them in Brazil with the new real exchange rate and the high interest rates.
