I understand it isn't clear to you, but to anyone who has been watching this administration carefully, it is absolutely clear. Bush and Cheney have done everything in their power to benefit the oil companies and obstruct anything to do with climate change or alternative energy. I would care so much if they were just obstructing climate change, but when it spills over into obstructing alternative energies, then that pisses me off, because they are literally delaying the US' entry into the next great industry that will bring millions of jobs around the world to those countries who compete hard for them.
