She basically told the crowd that it's the press' job to make sure someone like George W. Bush doesn't get elected.

This is typical of CNN, but of the other media outlets, as well. Even FNC, which has been the one source of relatively unbiased news, is totally enamored with Obama.

This is the way a Hitler gets elected. When a candidate transcends political vetting and develops a cult following, it is a recipe for disaster. There are a lot of people out there who are merely nodding their heads in agreement without using their minds.

The best example that will be familiar to those on this thread is CJ. Now, here is a person who clearly is very smart, supports Obama, and CANNOT articulate any rationale for it. Cults can draw in smart people -- it isn't about smartness. I believe the Obama "campaign" is as much a cult following as it is a political event.
