Placed an order through Etrade on 10/8. Checked back that day and there was no open order nor any message of the order being placed.
Emailed them [etrade] and was informed of how to place an order. I mailed back that I thought I had and had a message number of 62 or 63, but was in a hurry and didn't write it down, my mistake, so I let it go. I placed another order on the 14th which was filled and there were no new messages for me; I always check.
Well today there in Message Center is my order, #63 saying that my day order had expired! Somewhere between the 14th and today there server came up with my supposed canceled order!
Well, what does it mean when after serveral days they find your order, and your dismissed with a expired order message?
I'm not to happy and am waiting for there story as to where my order went, this past week.
It's a pain in the a.. to change services. But I have to change, this is unexceptible. Regardless of there excuse, I had money on the table that was unaccounted for! I have asked for a trading record, to be faxed to me.
