I did get a return call from Patrick Bell yesterday, and we chatted for about 10 minutes…. He said their phones were ringing off the hook, because of the Ad that WA State had just put out, including Michelle Obama and 4 other WA State women who DO like and are proud of America.
I told him about SI, and about 5-6 other interesting websites the WA State Republican party should pay attention to…. Repeated to him that as far as I was concerned, they should continue with ads like that, and that it was about time they stood up to the Democrats who seem to think that it is OK to toss cr*p around, and we were supposed to not notice they had.
Repeated our wish that McCain be more forceful than he has been, and suggested the WSRP do some priority check lists themselves….We can not continue trying to be everything to everyone…, but we CAN and Should pick the top 3-5 items that are most important, and hit the facts hard.
For example,
--National Defense, including securing the Borders!
--Energy – Insist our Government allow drilling wherever it is, and at the least in open waters, plus be open and receptive to every energy source there is, if it is at least half as efficient as oil….(so far there aren’t many types of energy that are even 1/8 as efficient)
--Know that we MUST win if we are to have a chance to have a more balanced Supreme Court
and then the office of Communications Director
